Nice pattern but more functionality expected

"I went to the store to look up the New Zea Rolling laptop bags and the build seems good. Kipling has introduced a U shaped strolley handle instead of the single 'T' shaped one. Also, 4 wheels (spinner) which is significantly better than the earlier 2-wheeled backpacks. The backpack patterns are nice and trendy. The two side-pockets are also nice. However, the material quality of the interiors and the interior design of the backpack could have been better. The interior material (polyester based) is flimsy. The organizer-section for storing pens/ miscellaneous items is barebone. At this price-point, one would expect a much more robust and expansive organizer-section, even with a keychain for securing keys. The interior material could be made of a sturdier material and contain padding, to ensure durability. Also, the design and positioning of the laptop compartment is flawed. The laptop compartment is in the innermost section (towards the back) of the backpack, ie, the farthest away from the zip. Not only that, the compartment has been designed with 2-dimensions in mind. There is next to minimal depth in the compartment. So, it is going to be a huge challenge fitting anything other than a tablet, in the laptop compartment. A laptop has a length, width and a depth (which is usually a fraction of an inch). However, since this laptop compartment has been designed without nearly ANY depth, it is going to be a huge struggle fitting a laptop in the compartment and taking it out, furthermore as the compartment is so recessed towards the back. If the space in the backpack is filled with other articles (which is how it usually is, in real-life), it's going to be a real struggle reaching into the laptop compartment and pulling out the laptop. In my case, I probably won't be placing the laptop in the laptop compartment at all. I will probably place it in the general section to avoid the struggle. Lastly, the shoulder straps are barely padded. A rolling backpack is heavier than a general backpack, owing to the stolley handle and the wheels. To think that shoulder straps for a rolling spinner-backpack with a U-handle strolley could be designed with nearly zero padding is bizarre. Due to this, I probably won't be carrying the backpack on my shoulders any time soon. Kipling has gotten the overall outer shell design, the exterior material pattern design, the pockets, U-shaped handle, the 4-spinner wheels right. What it now has to focus on, is the interior space organization, having more compartments with padded interiors, placing the laptop compartment closer to the zip for easier access, introducing depth in the laptop compartment, having larger zip pulls, so it is easier to zip/ unzip. The current zip pulls are small, and it is again going to be a struggle using them. If Kipling can make these changes, it's backpacks will be hard to compete with."
