Flap pouches are decoration with a useless snap

"Syro crossbody arrived yesterday and was not impressed at all. Im noticing that kipling seems to be changing from a usable exterior pouch with its own zipper to this useless flap type which is secured only with one tiny weak magnetic snap that does nothing to prevent things from falling out. Especially if it is being used to carry s cell phone. I would call this a decorative rather than a useful pouch. Also, the Syro has that loose end design on the top zipper for the primary compartment meaning that there is always a open gap of around 1 1/2 inches that does not close up. The end part of the zipper either hangs out on top of the part looking really shabby. or you can push it down into the purse which when fully open means the zipper tab has to be pried out everytime to zip the thing back up. The purse was even on sale for half at around $34 and is still going back to WMart return counter because it is that annoying to use with these design flaws. Im glad I saw it because now I know never to order a kipling product that has a useless flap pouch and an unattached zipper end. Dont really care need the missing keyfob because I prefer to use an exterior zipper pocket on exterior backside. The idea was to keep the cellphone in the opposite side exterior flap pouch so the signals do not mess with the key fob signals."

Syro is very cute but smaller than Izellah

"It's a lovely bag. I love the horizontal shape - much easier to find things. The pockets are well designed and it holds a lot. I don't love the divider inside, and it needs a key fob. It's a tiny bit smaller than I wanted - feels a little overstuffed when I have my Kindle. I bought an Izellah at Macy's, and even though the description suggests that the Syro is larger, it's not. The Izellah is a bit bigger and it seems much roomier. So if you're trying to decide between the Syro and the Izellah and you want a bigger bag, the Izellah is a better choice."

The Syro is my primary handbag

"I love the Syro crossbody. It is the perfect bag for me, with the right outside pockets that my sunglasses and phone can fit. The inside is just right for my wallet and the other stuff. I have the Syro is several colors. My only recommendation would be for the strap to be removable so it could be replaced with the patterned straps so readily available now whenever you wanted."
